Sports and Games – This action-packed class is designed for all skill levels and geared to improve motor skills, teamwork, fitness and sportsmanship. Our focus is on FUN while
introducing new sports or games each week which may include soccer, capture the flag, kickball, sharks and minnows, flag football, obstacle courses and many more playground favorites. (No class 11/12)

Hit It with Heidi – Cardio Kickboxing – Using basic punches and kicks combined with today’s hits, Hit It with Heidi Cardio Kickboxing will get your child moving. During the class, your child will build muscle, break a sweat, gain confidence, and have a great time doing it. This class is sure to be their most favorite exercise class. (No class 11/7 & 11/21)

Twinbrook After School Club
Join the Twinbrook After School Club every day from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. right here at Twinbrook. Activities focus on recreation, arts, fitness and cultural exploration. Children will have fun and make discoveries through arts, crafts, games and physical exercise. Homework help is available and a snack is provided. This program meets on all school days including early release days; and does not meet on nonschool days. Monthly payments plans are available. Twinbrook Rec Center After School Adventure
The Twinbrook Rec Center offers an after school adventure every day from 3 – 6:30 PM. This program provides children with a safe and fun environment. Computer lab, crafts, organized games and other enrichment activities are offered. Transportation is provided from Meadow Hall Elementary School and Twinbrook Elementary School. Program operates when school is in session for full day; does not meet on early release days. RMHS PeeWee & Junior Poms
Kids in K-8 can join the RMHS Rockets Pom Squad for a fun clinic and performance! Clinics will take place on September 17 and September 20 from 6-7:30 PM at RM. PeeWee & Junior Poms will perform during half-time at the Rockets game vs. Sherwood Warriors on September 21 at 7 PM.
Healthy Kids Running Series
The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five week running program in the spring and fall for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. The fall series runs every Sunday from September 23 – October 21 at 3-4 PM. Each Race Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 yard dash, 75 yard dash, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the one mile run. Kids compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points and at the end of the Series the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division receive a trophy. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you run because all participants receive a medal and gift bag for their achievements courtesy of our sponsors!

STEM Academy Afterschool Clubs
STEM Academy is currently offering STEM enrichment programs for K-5. Youth explore the state-of-the-art field of autonomous robotics as they work in teams to build, program and redesign autonomous robots. They are introduced to electrical circuit theory, electrical component, programmable microcontroller interfacing, servo motors, photoresistors, infrared sensors and transmitters. Learn about different types of machines and how they function to make work easier.
If at least 10 students sign up, classes will be held at Twinbrook after school on the following Tuesdays: Sep-25, Oct-2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Nov-20, 27, Dec-4, 18.
