Visit Montgomery Mall anytime between April 24-29 to see the MCPS Elementary Art Show featuring some of our own students! This exhibition highlights outstanding artwork created in 135 schools by students in Pre K-Grade 5.

MCPS Curriculum Review
MCPS is selecting new curricula for ELA (English language arts, reading) and math. Their homegrown curricula (2.0) shows that many kids are behind in both reading and math. You can provide input by completing the survey at: https://mcpsweb.wufoo.com/forms/curriculum-review/.
Teacher Appreciation Week

MCCPTA School Safety and Security Forum – Part 2
The fourm will discuss the MCPS final report on School Safety and Security, the 45-day action plan, and how the provisions of the Safe Schools Act – recently passed by the General Assembly – fits in to what MCPS is already doing, and planning to do.

Join the PTA
It’s time to join the PTA for the 2017/2018 school year! Did you know schools are becoming more dependent on PTAs for fundraising to supplement school budgets? You will play an important role in helping the school acquire resources and reward children. Our fundraising supports:
- Programs/supplies not in the school budget, including field trips
- Evening events for families
- School yearbooks
- Books and websites used in the classroom
- School assemblies
