Thanks to everyone who came out last night to vote for our new board, and hear some great info about the City of Rockville and their summer programs! Here’s the new board:

President: Vincent Russo

VP Membership: Susan Adams

VP Fundraising: Jennifer Wood

Treasurer: vacant

Secretary: vacant

Yes, we still have vacancies. Our bylaws require a secretary and a treasurer. On the fence about whether you should join the board? Here are some things to think about:

• You’ll receive free training.
• You’ll receive support from experienced volunteers who have been in your shoes. It’s a great year to get your feet wet because for many of our long-time volunteers with kids in 4th or 5th grade, their time at Twinbrook is nearly at an end.
• If we don’t fill these positions, we won’t have a PTA in good standing. This means trouble for PTA-run special events, fundraisers, and the Book Fair.
