Important Board of Education Hearing tomorrow – Can You Attend?
Richard Montgomery Cluster Coordinator Jennifer Young will be presenting testimony to the Board of Education on the MCPS Capital Budget for FY 2014 and amendments to the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for FY2013-2018 tomorrow, November 15 at the Carver Educational Services Center Auditorium. We are hoping for 5-10 people from Twinbrook to attend this meeting.

The Twinbrook PTA Cookie Dough Fundraiser Ends Wednesday, November 14
Consider this: if each student sells just one tub of cookie dough, we would make over $2,000 to support Twinbrook Elementary. Five tubs sold per student would make almost $14,000. Monster Mash Family Dance at Twinbrook Community Rec Center – Friday, October 26
Come to the Monster Mash Halloween Family Dance at the Twinbrook Rec Center, this Friday (Oct. 26) from 7-9PM. Cost is $3 at the door. Come in costume for Halloween crafts, a DJ, and more! As a fundraiser, the Twinbrook PTA will be selling refreshments. Please consider donating a baked good or helping sell refreshments

Do you have old costumes from previous Halloweens taking up space in your house? Ms. Pike, our school counselor, is collecting costumes for Twinbrook students. Please take them to the main office or to her office.

Walk to School Day Tomorrow
Join the City of Rockville for its annual Walk to School Day event Wednesday, October 3. Students and parents will be meeting at three locations at 8:30am: Rockcrest Park and Crawford Drive (meet at Rockcrest Park); Rockland Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue; and Atlantic Avenue and Wainwright Avenue (meet at Twinbrook Rec Center).
